It was interesting after the second lockdown & returning to work how many more of my clients opted for relaxation/body treatments; those who would normally just have waxing also added on a massage or a facial treatment! One positive thing from the pandemic is a lot of people have slowed down and realised how beneficial not only the ‘outer’ beauty treatments are e.g nails but actually how important body and mind treatments are too! 🤗
For many of us, the gradual easing of lockdown brings longed-for activities (even if at a social distance) – to see friends, play sports, resume contact with family in ‘real space’ or get back to work that we value.
What can we do?
We should be prepared for the fact that the end of lockdown might be as hard for us as the start was.
My mental health tips:
- Find a routine; it doesn’t have to be a full routine just something you do that is a regular thing! For me it’s making sure I walk everyday!
- Staying connected, to your family, friends & yourself being mindful.
- Eating well
- Exercising
Because our situations are unique to us, it is really important to try not to judge ourselves harshly based on what other people are doing. Everybody is facing uncertainty and challenge – and we have no choice but to move through it as best we can with our own coping mechanisms.
Hope your all feeling well & staying safe… not long now… we’ve got this!🤗
